“Piloting Our Youth”
Introducing
Mentorship Program (ages 11-18)
Our program is dedicated to empowering the youth of Jacksonville, FL, by equipping them with vital skills and resources that will enable them to secure and retain meaningful employment, ultimately fostering a brighter future for our community.
They will develop skill sets in the following:
Competency
Effective Interviewing
Social Development
Appropriate Business Attire
Financial Literacy
Good Work Ethics
Integrity
Time Management
Resume Writing
WHY?
Our goal is to assist the youth in sustaining a productive career in order to avert job loss.
We will discuss substance abuse, stress and coping with violence.
The program dialogue will also include topics such as arrests, evictions and divorce.
Wait! There’s More.
The mentees who attend our program will learn trades from our highly trained Dream Team. They will have the opportunity to learn skills in event planning , the airline industry, lighting production, basic culinary and tools to use in the photography industry.
At the end of the 6-week program, mentees will have the opportunity to be selected for a paid position at Amour Creations by G’Bre.
